A studio study based on a photograph taken at Sefton Park, Liverpool, during a plein air painting session. I saw a father and child feeding ducks by the water. The strong sunshine breaking on the surface of the pond and on the figures really caught my attention, and I’d been wanting to paint it for a while. Finally got round to it 🙂
